From the 24th of June till the 7th of July 2024, a two-week residency of SYMBIOSIS took place in MUCCA Munich. It was the first time, our dome was built inside an industrial hall and we enjoyed the steady working temperature. The main focus of the residency was technical construction and improvements of props and scenography, the entrance- and door system to reach maximum accessibility while staying within the safety regulations and to make the dome light-tight as well as heatable and ventilatable. Next to that, we had lovely meetings with more technical team members, our videographer Fidel Rott and photographer Lily Schlinker.
We are thankful to the material initiative Treibgut for providing second-hand building material for props, scenography and our new wheelchair ramps for better accessibility of the dome. Also a big thanks to all the other institutions on the Kreativquartier München for the nice working atmosphere.
