SYMBIOSIS

2 circus artists, 2 handwritings, 1 performance. Symbiosis is a contemporary circus diptych created by Kolja Huneck and Luuk Brantjes combining circus, magie nouvelle and object theatre. Symbiosis dives deep into the tension and balance between humans and their natural surroundings. Each travelling their own path within a surreal universe, the artists explore how one relates to the transient world around. Juggling and acrobatics melt into a surprising choreographic dialogue between artists, objects, material and space.

 

The customised dome tent becomes a performance space where these elements intertwine, inviting the audience into an immersive world.
